E-Commerce Flat Lay Clothing Photo Post-Processing & Catalog Enhancement

From October 14 to October 18, 2025, I delivered a comprehensive flat lay apparel image editing project for Marcus Lindqvist, an e-commerce clothing brand based in Sweden. The goal was to refine top-down studio photography into crisp, catalog-ready garment visuals.

To ensure professional marketplace presentation across Shopify and Amazon, I executed a detailed flat lay editing workflow:

• Vector Clipping Path & Background Removal: Created hand-drawn pen paths around tops, trousers, and dresses for clean background extraction and pure white (RGB 255) placement.

• Fabric Smoothing & Wrinkle Removal: Applied frequency separation to remove deep creases and fabric wrinkles while preserving natural weave texture.

• Symmetry Alignment & Garment Shaping: Corrected collar alignment, sleeve angles, and hem proportion to present balanced, structured silhouettes.

• True-to-Life Color Correction & Shadow Creation: Adjusted color balance, removed color casts, and added soft drop shadows for realistic depth.
